The Weekly Nugget Awards

The Third Man team are delighted to announce a couple of new weekly awards - the Nuggets. Each week we will pick the outstanding performance to receive the Golden Nugget and the worst performance to receive the Chicken Nugget.

This week’s award goes to Ben Moon for two excellent spells of bowling  as well as a few useful runs. On Wednesday Ben took 4-16 to help the U16s to victory in the cup semi-final v Lewes Priory. On Saturday for the 5th XI Ben took 4-31 and also scored 26 valuable runs to help Charlie Hetherton guide the side to a decent score after a middle order collapse.

Chicken Nugget - 10/11 July 2010

This week’s Chicken Nugget goes to Matthew Smith for his fourth failed attempt to ‘trouble the scorer’ this season. Yes, we know he’s got a few runs as well, but someone has to go for the fast food option! Bound to get a ton next week!
