The Weekly Nugget Awards The Third Man team are delighted to announce a couple of new weekly awards - the Nuggets. Each week we will pick the outstanding performance to receive the Golden Nugget and the worst performance to receive the Chicken Nugget. |

| Ian Marshall got his first ever
five-wicket haul with figures of 5 for 27. Other bowlers with good figures
included Jon Goldstraw (5 for 31), Kane Salts (3 for 4) and Souvik
Naskar (3 for 27). Amongst the batsmen, Joshua Barnes
scored his maiden fifty for the 4thXI against Ifield and is to be
congratulated on this achievement! Well done! The panel, including Bruno Tognioli from 'Strictly..' have decided to award this week's Golden Nugget to Ian Marshall. Great bowling! Well done!! |

| The Chicken Nugget goes to Chris Mates for
the admirable way he shouldered his bat to a straight ball which hit middle stump as the 2nd XI battled for a draw v Preston Nomads. A clear case for the nets!! Watch this space for next weeks efforts - the hangover police will be watching! |
