Under 11's win by 1 run against Ditchling

Its two wins on the trot now for the under 11's side who continue to impress with their batting and their tenacious fielding.

17th May 2011 published by Andrew Scott

B&H put Ditchling into bat who settled for 293 for 6 wickets after 20 over's. Louis Marshall is the form bowler as he restricted the first pair to merely a few runs each. Four other bowlers took wickets with Henry Bellm taking a superb catch in mid wicket from an impressive bowling spell by Ollie Pearce. The score would have been much less but the Ditchling last pair put on 33 runs. The under 11's have set themselves a high standard this season and not least with the bat with each pair contributing to the total, noteworthy performances from Matt Cordery, Alec Scott and Joe Marsh.

B&H needed only two runs off the last over to win the game and it was down to Harry Batchelor to get the winning runs as B&H finished at 294 for only 3 wickets lost. Keep it up boys you really have earned these victories against good sides.
