Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct for Brighton and Hove Cricket Club (B&HCC)
We have been working hard to make sure that there are suitable policies and procedures in place which cover the welfare of the colts and the adults who are working with them. All of these are rightly required by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as part of our ECB Clubmark accreditation.
Safeguarding policy
This is based on an ECB template of best practice guidelines.
Code(s) of conduct
We have developed a code of conduct for club members/parents/guests and junior players. The codes are part of the safeguarding policy and support the well being, dignity and respect requirements which we have adopted as the ethos for our club.
Summary
All of the documents are available in a hard copy to be read in the clubhouse. This website page will be used for posting any updates about safeguarding policy developments and delivery.
